Workaround for Internet Explorer Database Download 

 

 

Ingredient and Recipe Updates

NEW: The August 2019 ingredient and recipe data file updates include ingredient changes due to new items on the order guide on the bid for frozen and refrigerated and dry food items, USDA Food items, Farm to School and DOD items, as well as corrections to errors that were found.

The list of deleted recipes and ingredients identifies recipes and ingredients that have been deleted due to product changes.  These have to be deleted at the district level.  

Remember .1 after a recipe number indicates that USDA Foods ingredients are used, .2 is for recipes that have USDA Beef Crumbles, and .3 indicates recipes that have Farm to School and/or DOD produce items.

NutriKids® Files:

Version 18.5 of NutriKids® must be used for this update.

 

To use the ingredient or recipe file, do not Open or unzip the file, use the following steps:

  1. Save the file to your computer
  2. Access the folder where the file is located and change the file extension from .zip to .dat (delete .zip and add .dat)
  3. Use the transfer utility tool to import the file into the nutrient database program

Download Database

The following will replace all the data in your nutrient database program

To use this file, do not Open or unzip the file, use the following steps:

  1. Save the file to your computer
  2. Access the folder where the file is located and change the file extension from .zip to .dat (delete .zip and add .dat)
  3. Use the Restore tool to replace the current database in the nutrient database program. This will replace all of the data in your nutrient database program
