The Office of Textbooks is responsible for coordinating the Adoption, Distribution, Care, and Use of Instructional Materials in public, accredited non-public schools, and special state schools in Mississippi.
The MDE procured a new textbook depository on Thursday, August 18. The Tennessee Book Company will start creating a new textbook depository, textbook inventory management system, and textbook adoption. More information to come.

Textbook Inventory Management System (TIMS)
The Office of Textbooks coordinates textbook adoption, distribution, care, and use in Mississippi's schools, both public and non-public. The Textbook Office supports the Textbook Inventory Management System 2.0 (TIMS). Textbook procurement for state-accredited, non-public schools is facilitated through the Textbook Office.
