JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Board of Education has voted to change its monthly meetings from two days to one day, effective July 16. Previously, the Board’s work sessions were on the third Thursdays of each month at 10 a.m. and the meetings were on Fridays at 8:30 a.m.
The work session and the monthly meeting will be on the same day, the third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m., unless prior notice is given for a change in dates. The meetings, on the 4th floor of the Central High School Building, are open to the public.
The approved 2015-2016 Board of Education meeting dates are as follows:
- July 16, 2015
- August 20, 2015
- September 17, 2015
- October 15, 2015
- November 19, 2015
- December 17, 2015
- January 21, 2016
- February 18, 2016
- March 17, 2016
- April 21, 2016
- May 19, 2016
- June 16, 2016
