WHO: The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Federal Programs
WHAT: The MDE will recognize and award more than 35 Title 1 schools from across the state for their work in closing the achievement gap and improving student academic performance during the “Champions of Change” ceremony. In a surprise announcement, two of the schools will be notified at the meeting that they will receive national recognition for their efforts.
WHEN: Friday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Auditorium in the Central High School Building – 2nd floor.
