Dr. Carey Wright to Testify at U.S. House of Representatives Hearing on Data and Evidence-Based Research

WHO: Dr. Carey Wright, state superintendent of education and president of the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO)

WHAT: Dr. Wright has been invited to testify at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce hearing, “Protecting Privacy, Promoting Policy: Evidence-Based Policymaking and the Future of Education.” Wright will talk about the importance of using data and research to improve educational outcomes for students and to prepare them for college and the workforce.
