JACKSON, Miss. – Mississippi improved its education ranking to 30th in the nation – the state’s highest ranking ever – according to the 2024 Annie E. Casey Foundation’s KIDS COUNT® Data Book released today.

JACKSON, Miss. – Two Mississippi students — Noah Curtis Lee and Iris Jiani Xue — have been named 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars. Noah and Iris are both from Southaven and attend the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus.
