Pass Christian Middle School to be Recognized as a Top Performer in Mississippi

WHO: Mississippi Department of Education’s Special Education Advisory Panel

WHAT: The advisory panel will honor Pass Christian Middle School for expanding and improving its inclusion efforts among children with disabilities. Inclusion efforts place students with special needs in classrooms with their typically developing peers.

WHEN: Friday, May 23 at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Pass Christian Middle School, 280 West Second Street, Pass Christian, MS

WHY: Pass Christian provides all students with a rigorous, data-driven learning environment where the high expectation of the staff are evidenced by each member’s care and concern for students. Through its inclusive philosophy and providing the support to the teachers to refine their skills the school has continually shown academic growth for all students.

State and school administrators, teachers and parents involved with the program will be in attendance at the event and available for interviews. An inclusion classroom will also be available for video and photography.
