MDE brand guidelines and best practices ensure the agency is represented consistently. Resources for MDE Employees
Effective April 2022, all new documents with colored font(s) or background shading that will be posted on the MDE website must use one or more of the brand colors listed on p. 13 of the MDE Brand Guidelines document. These colors meet web accessibility standards for people with visual impairments, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

The Mississippi Department of Education’s logo is one of the most important aspects of our identity. Consistent logo use helps protect the integrity of the MDE brand, so whenever using a logo, it is important to follow all branding and logo use guidelines.
TeachMS Campaign
TeachMS is a statewide campaign that promotes the teaching profession and attracts aspiring Mississippi educators who want to empower and inspire generations of change – one student, one classroom, one school at a time. The TeachMS mark may be used by Mississippi educator preparation programs or any organization that supports the TeachMS mission.
Strong Readers = Strong Leaders Logo
Strong Readers = Strong Leaders is a statewide campaign to improve literacy among all school children. This logo may be used by school districts to promote literacy.
