The Health in Action Lesson Plan Website has recently been updated (2014) to be more user friendly and to address common core standards, in addition to academic subject matter standards and standards for Health and Physical Education. Initially designed to assist teachers to fulfill the requirements of the Mississippi Healthy Students Act, the Health in Action database offers a wide range of health and physical education activity ideas that are adaptable for many different kinds of classroom settings.
